Project Manager (Solar)

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Solar Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of solar energy projects. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in solar energy systems, and a proven track record of successfully managing projects from conception to implementation. This is a management position that requires effective communication, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate and manage all aspects of solar energy projects, including site assessment, design, permitting, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
2. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
3. Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and objectives are achieved.
4. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to mitigate delays or setbacks.
5. Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality, address any concerns, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
6. Prepare and present project status reports, financial forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management and clients.
7. Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to continuously improve project management practices.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, renewable energy, construction management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
3. Proven track record of successfully managing projects of varying scale and complexity.
4. Technical knowledge of solar energy systems, including PV modules, inverters, racking systems, and balance of system component is preferable.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts effectively.
6. Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar platforms.
7. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
